About Us

Drapers’ Brookside Infant School officially joined Drapers’ Multi-Academy Trust on Wednesday 1st June 2016.

Our predecessor school was rated as a Good school by Ofsted and we look forward to maintaining the excellent education we provide. We are incredibly excited for the future and joining the Trust allows us to strengthen our links with the Junior School, working collaboratively and sharing best practice.

Drapers’ Brookside Infant School is committed to actively removing barriers to learning so that each child can realise their full potential. Our positive and caring team is focused on supporting the needs of each individual child and family in order to develop strong partnerships. We celebrate our differences. We have a commitment to a constant process of change and evaluation. We believe that all members of our community should have equal opportunity to achieve their ambitions in all aspects of life.

  • Everyone should feel happy and safe in their environment, gaining satisfaction from their activities and achievements.
  • Everyone should know how to behave appropriately and take responsibility for their actions.
  • Everyone should understand the importance of health and safety and be encouraged to develop a healthy lifestyle.
  • Everyone should have first-hand knowledge of the local community as well as their roles and responsibilities within it.
  • Everyone should be involved in the evaluation of their own performance together with the setting and achievement of realistic targets.
  • Everyone is equal with respect to personal, social, spiritual and educational needs and should have equal access to the resources, pportunities and experiences which contribute to development.
  • Everyone should have learning experiences which develop the resilience and willingness to adapt and adjust to a diverse and ever changing society where differences are respected and valued.
